Position Overview
Autodesk's Product Development and Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) team is hiring Software Quality Assurance Specialists to join our Inventor team. This is an exciting time to join us on our multi-year journey to disrupt the Design to Manufacture world by delivering un-precedented value and converging workflows. You'll be reporting to our Quality Assurance Manager and you'll help us increase the quality of our flagship 3D design product. You will work with a global engineering team to help define & develop product validation strategy, drive automation, advocate for customers, and represent Quality Assurance during the product development cycle. You'll help us develop, drive, and execute a coherent, progressive, systematical, customer-centric SQA strategy for Autodesk's Inventor product line, world-class 2D and 3D mechanical CAD tools.

Responsibilities
- Build test plans for features and perform end-to-end testing during development and release stages
- Create automations using internal automation tool and maintain automation test cases effectiveness
- Assist our managers in the evaluation, scope, and cost of projects
- Provide regular status updates to QA managers for project status, overall quality status, and risks
- Be a customer champion throughout the development lifecycle to ensure that customer satisfaction is the highest priority quality measure for all products
- Propose new ideas and learn about new technology and testing frameworks
- Collaborate with extended team members and build partnerships with other SQA teams
- Communicate testing and product requirements and testing timelines with other team members
Minimum Qualifications
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (exposure to CAD/CAM software)
- 1+ years of experience in a Software Quality Assurance or software testing
- Demonstrated customer centricity and zeal for quality
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience working in large teams with lots of interdependencies
- Team player, reliability and demonstrated rigor
- Experience describing testing requirements and methodologies to extended team members
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Programming/Scripting knowledge with Python or JavaScript (or related)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JIRA (or similar tools)
- Experience in Mechanical design software testing (CAD, CAM, etc.)
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams
