The Autodesk Enterprise Security and Compliance (ESC) is seeking a Senior Security Technical Program Manager to join our organization and help us transform, drive, and scale critical security programs. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that security projects align with high-level business objectives. This role requires an analytical advisor who understands the theories and concepts of the discipline and can apply security best practices. The Security Program Manager will solve complex problems by taking new perspectives on existing solutions and applying knowledge of best practices in practical situations. This position demands strong data analysis, judgment, and interpretation skills to select the right course of action and connect the dots of assignments to the bigger picture.

Your duties will encompass defining security controls and key performance indicators (KPIs), supporting the development of ESC Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), ensuring control compliance, and advocating for consistent best practices. These efforts will aim to guarantee that Autodesk's security strategies effectively address current and future security challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring security projects align with high-level business objectives; challenges business outcomes as they are defined and ratified
  • Identifying and working with colleagues to resolve program level issues and risks; mitigating and clearing roadblocks independently
  • Driving cross organizational planning and prioritization and ensuring that outcomes are linked to measurements and key performance indicators
  • Communicating status to stakeholders
  • Driving end-to-end planning for enterprise programs of considerable complexity with cross-functional participation, boundary-crossing dependencies, and considerable enterprise enablement requirements. Nimbly in adapting plans to changing conditions
  • Applying creativity in recommending variations in approach and using data analysis, judgment, and interpretation to select the right course of action
  • Solving complex problems of diverse scope by taking new perspectives on existing solutions and applying knowledge of best practices in practical situations
  • Lead projects or key elements within a broader project and may have accountability for leading and improving ongoing processes
  • Acting as a mentor or resource for colleagues with less experience, providing close guidance at critical points

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in enterprise security operations, threat modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection, and/or security program management
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
  • 2+ years of experience driving complex technology projects within large, distributed organizations
  • BS Computer Science/ Computer engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in cloud security and experience with one or more cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc)
