Position Overview

The Autodesk User Management team is hiring a Product Manager for our Core Admin Platform group. The User Management team builds the services and infrastructure that our customers and developers use to manage permissions for Autodesk's design and make software. With our tools Autodesk customers can manage access to over 90 products across their hundreds or thousands of users.

You will work with experienced designers, engineering managers, architects, and other Product Managers in the Project Admin group to determine the right thing to build for our customers. You will work closely with engineering teams prioritizing their backlog, providing business context, and setting the direction of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and maintain a product roadmap for the domain you work in
  • Work with Autodesk product teams and customers to understand pain points of the current experiences, find commonality across them, and develop requirements for new features and enhancements
  • Create feature specifications / requirements / story maps / use cases to find alignment across all stakeholders
  • Partner with UX to shape viable experiences
  • Partner with data analysts to define success metrics for features you work on
  • Manage backlog and prioritize development efforts, define user stories and acceptance criteria, and participate in testing to accept the stories
  • Prioritize user stories for sequential and focused team progress, balancing needs from stakeholders, customer pain points, and technology efforts
  • Produce effective communications to stakeholders, communicating on deployment progress through regular product roadmap updates
  • Ensure transparency, agreement, and understanding of team focus and direction among extended team members
  • Influence and participate where needed in go-to-market plans of important capabilities and features

Location: Hybrid Toronto, Ontario

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience working in matrixed organizations, driving consensus amongst different stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt communication for different audiences (technical/non-technical, business stakeholders, customers)
  • 3+ years of experience using data and evidence to propose novel solutions and make product recommendations
  • Experience with shipping technical software products
  • Ability to break down complex problems into user-focused solutions
  • Great networking and persuasion abilities
  • Great project management skills
  • Technical background in cloud platform products, and/or component and service delivery
