Staffing/Group Coordinator - University of North Carolina

Job Description

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for assisting management with sourcing and onboarding hourly applicants. Tasks include, but are not limited to, partnering with local and remote managers to process applicants through the hiring pipeline, provide applicants direct assistance to expedite the onboarding process, and set up and attend hiring fairs at local venues. The Staffing Coordinator must have the ability to interact with managers, applicants, service partners and employees in a professional and cheerful manner. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for following and directing the applicant flow of district job requisitions.
  • Assists unit management with administrative tasks in relation to hourly onboarding, hiring events, and timely I-9 processing.
  • Responsible for scheduling and confirming event staff for all UNC events
  • Proactively engage local managers in addressing hourly candidate interviews and dispositions
  • Dotted line report to Senior District HR Manager
  • Address applicant questions and needs as related to the application and onboarding pipeline.
  • Operate technology, systems, and software such as MyWorkLife, personal computers, MS Office, telephones and email.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. 2+ years administrative support or human resources experience.
  • Excellent written/interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to optimally connect with candidates.
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong digital literacy is required of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) Internet, typing, other databases and spreadsheet software.
