Job Description

The Director, Corporate HR, provides HR support and partnership to assigned client groups in Aramark?s corporate functions. This position is responsible for providing strategic direction and consultation to senior and mid-level leaders, as well as people managers on all matters involving Aramark employees including DEI initiatives, compensation/benefits, employee relations, talent retention strategies, leadership development, talent management, organizational development, and change management.

Under strategic direction from the VP, Corporate Human Resources, the Director, Corporate HR, will work closely with their client groups, HR team, and HR COEs, to deliver effective and efficient manager enablement. The Director will consult, advise, partner and coach the business client groups on people and organizational needs ? ensuring alignment with HR objectives and initiatives. The Director will influence overall people strategy and ensure effective execution of HR solutions to enable business results.

This role will be responsible for leadership of an HR team of 1-2 HR Managers aligned by client responsibilities.

This role is based out of Aramark?s Headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A hybrid work schedule is in place and would require a minimum of 3 days in the office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as primary HR business partner for leaders and managers across assigned corporate functions
  • Partner with business to identify human resources solutions to help achieve targeted business outcomes
  • Provide professional consultation and support to management and employees in areas such as compensation, employee relations, workforce planning, talent acquisition, diversity, and organizational effectiveness
  • Assess and articulate opportunities for change initiatives that will positively influence business operations and results
  • Consult with business leadership to properly apply organizational policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance while meeting the needs of the business
  • Support employee engagement by helping to proactively identify opportunities and potential issues and develop and implement solutions
  • Support organization design and redesign efforts - ensure the right roles are in place and work/responsibilities are allocated appropriately
  • Implement consistent & comprehensive assessment and selection processes to ensure succession plans that deliver talent to the organization
  • Proactively coach leaders on organizational effectiveness, performance management, engagement and development topics including progressive discipline, reward and recognition, training, and workforce diversity
  • Work closely with VP, Corporate HR, and HR COEs to drive key elements of the people strategy - talent management strategy, to include talent acquisition, succession planning, organizational dynamics, leadership development, and retention

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience as an HR business partner, with strong organization capability/organization design, change management and talent management experience
  • 2+ years of team leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale change initiatives
  • Strong analytical and data analysis capabilities; ability to synthesize and present data effectively
  • Prior experience in the application of human resources principles across multiple client groups and multiple employee locations
  • Ability and personal accountability to effectively network and navigate through organizational relationships and work in a matrixed environment
  • Proficiency in compliance, state labor laws, and other regulations relevant to the business environment
  • Established working knowledge of all aspects of human resources, including but not limited to DEI, compensation, benefits, employee relations, talent acquisition, leadership development, talent management, training, organizational development and change management
  • Proven ability to effectively partner, communicate and consult with senior level leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in using HR technology and analytics
  • HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, OD or related business field preferred
