YOUR ROLE
- As Supply Chain Cluster Manager, on our team, you will: Responsible for all negotiations for Aptiv Honduras facilities, align with Corporate SCM policies and strategies. Secure material for new launches; follow up critical suppliers; global or regional material constraints, etc.
- In your daily job you will:
- Supply Chain representative in Plant that assures, together with Corporate SCM's teams the adequate supply of material, flawless launches, savings opportunities for all raw material that Plant needs to produce their finish goods.
- Develop strategies with multifunctional teams to implement cost savings up front.
- Negotiate contracts, long term agreements, fixed prices with current and potential suppliers.
- Supplier rating systems: Quality & Delivery.
- Material localization with distributors when no available with current suppliers. Material expediting - daily.
- Review and participate in price negotiations together with Corporate Purchasing Team.
- Savings and Increases.
- Administration & negotiations - daily.
- Stop and report all activity that compromises the health and security of all workers also environmental pollution.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- Bachelors' degree in Logistics or related
- English level advanced
- +5 years of experience in areas of Supply Chain Management
- Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.
- MS Office
- EOS Training / Global sourcing procedure
- General Advanced Procurement procedures
- Direct material sourcing approval
- Supplier quality scorecard (Roles and responsabilities)
- Cost Recoveries
