This role is within the EDS segment, and you will be joining that segment as it becomes its own entity, with a rich heritage and proven track record as a global leader in low and high voltage power and signal distribution systems. This position is part of our Electrical Distribution Segment.

Software Developer

We are currently seeking a software developer (.NET, C#) to join our team. As a software developer you will be involved in the full development cycle including the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable solutions using .NET technologies in both windows and web applications
• Support and modify legacy software applications to improve performance and functionality
• Modernize legacy applications bringing them up to current technologies
• Present materials and concepts to the team and technical leaders
• Collaborate with internal team to develop successful solutions
• Ability to test and debug software
• Ability to meet timing and deadlines and communicate when issues rise
• Stay up to date on the latest trends and coding practices

Qualifications

• Development experience using .NET technologies (preferred C#)
• Strong knowledge in web development area of .NET
• Familiar with REST and Web Services
• Understanding of Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiar with source control technologies (Azure DevOps, Team Foundation, git hub, etc.)
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Fluent in English
