Your Role

As an CICD Engineer - Embedded on our team, you'll work with Jenkins based CICD pipelines. Writing scripts to automate and Setting up quality gates that ensure that code delivered meets or exceeds the desired quality bar .

• Preferably looking for candidates with 3+ years of experience in DevOps
• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Experience in setting and configuring Jenkins CICD pipelines
• Experience in Python and Bash scripting.
• Review existing CI/CD platforms and identify best practices and gaps
• Design a best in class CI/CD design for the teams
• Work with product and platform teams to implement the CI/CD setups
• Provide guidance to CI/CD, tools and Quality Engineers and ensure progress

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• Required qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Software, Electricals, Electronics, Instrumentation, Information Technology or Telecommunication.
• Experience of 4-10 years.
• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Experience with embedded products and projects
• Experience with best practices of branching strategy
• Demonstrated capability with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CloudBees, Git/Gerrit, jFrog (Builds, Artifacts, Release Bundle), Kubernetes, and Docker
• Experience with Unit Testing harnesses and embedding those into the CI pipeline
• Strong development expertise in Python and Linux scripting languages
• Comfortable working in Linux, working knowledge of dockers
• Hands-on GoogleTest
• Experience with embedded debugging tools
• Experience on setting up Linux/Android build pipelines using soong, yocto build system
• Experience with build systems (eg.Bazel, Make,etc).
• Experience in Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience in C/C++ .
• Awareness of key open source packages for software development and automation is a benefit
• Awareness and use of various software analysis tools like Coverity, Blackduck • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills, complete ownership of the CI/CD configuration end to end.
