Your role:
- Co-owns (with respective Category Manager) creation and regular updates of material category strategy for his/her portfolio
- Be responsible to execute defined strategy for his/her portfolio
- Monitor market conditions for all cost drivers for his/her category (raw material, labor cost, logistics and freight, currency exchange) to adapt it in respective purchasing strategy
- Screen market and Scout market for new suppliers (domestic and overseas)
- Conduct suppliers risk management analysis and build mitigation plans for risky suppliers
- Develop diversification and consolidation plans in-line with defined strategy
- Organize Business Reviews and Supplier Days with main suppliers/meetings with top management representatives
- Visit existing and new suppliers, review production process, gain deep knowledge of products and technology
- Develop strategy to deliver material performance in his/her category
- Prepare negotiations for each key supplier according to preparation techniques
- Negotiate Terms and Conditions and all commercial terms with suppliers to drive year over year material cost improvement
- Ensure volume change sourcing is considered during negotiation with suppliers
- Prepare and implement mitigation plan for price increases
- Drive and execute procurement material performance plan to exceed functional objectives and to adapt purchasing terms to strategic goals of organization
- Liaise with Legal for contract negotiations
- Track results/target for all suppliers in portfolio and communicate gap to target and GCP plans

Your Background:
- Master Degree in Business, Economy, Finance or Engineering
- Developing purchasing strategy and strategic planning
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in materials purchasing departments in tier 1-2 automotive organization with demonstrated track record of achievements
- Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication skills
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others Strong analytical skills and presentation making skills (Excel, Ppt)
- Understanding of concepts of sustainability, ethical sourcing, socially responsible sourcing strategies
- Experience in running RFQs and using of Purchasing tools
- Preparation of negotiation scenarios based on total cost evaluation
- Fluent in English
- Power BI ( Preferred )
- SAP User ( Preferred )
- Understanding of material cost modelling and should cost analysis for assigned materials
