NPT Manufacturing Engineer - (E2)

Austin, TX

Etch Manufacturing is hiring a New Product Transition (NPT) Manufacturing Engineer to support the successful launch of next-generation products into high-volume manufacturing. This hands-on, detail-driven role is critical to ensuring that designs are ready for scalable manufacturing and that operational issues are proactively solved before a product ramp.

You'll work closely with the NPT Project/Program Manager and cross-functional teams to translate new product designs into efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing processes.

What You'll Do

As an NPT Manufacturing Engineer, you will be at the core of our new product introduction efforts-driving manufacturing readiness, process optimization, and early issue resolution during pilot and initial production builds.

Design for Test: Assist in defining test specifications and procedures.
Document and Standardize: Support development and maintenance of work instructions, build documentation, and process standards.
Mitigate Risk: Support risk analysis during design reviews to identify failure points before they impact production.
Support the Line: Engage directly with technicians and assemblers on the floor to resolve issues in real time during builds.
