Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy custom software solutions for factory automation and control systems
- Interface with industrial hardware such as sensors, actuators, NI DAQ, and PLCs using appropriate protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC-UA)
- Architect and implement systems that integrate real-time hardware controls with higher-level enterprise systems (e.g., MES)
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and interns to support project execution, providing software expertise in solution design
- Develop documentation, diagrams, and user guides for deployed systems
- Assist in troubleshooting and sustaining deployed automation software
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering preferably in Electrical, Automation or Software
- Hands-on experience integrating industrial hardware (e.g., NI hardware, sensors, PLCs) with custom software applications
- Familiarity with MES systems and how to interface external software or hardware with enterprise IT systems
- Experienced in various stakeholder management and project management
- Resourceful and proactive individual
