Logistics Technical Trainer

Key Responsibilities

  • Presents standard or moderately customized Logistics Certification Program (LCP) training using prepared or customized materials; Conducts three-day Onboarding curriculum in-person for Austin and virtually for Kalispell location.
  • Manages classroom/lab activities to assure fulfillment of course objectives; presents and practices safety. May work off-shift and/or weekends as assigned.
  • Acts as primary auditor for the Logistics Training Center (LTC), MyCert learning management system, and Applied Global University (AGU) for logistics. This included posting credits of completion and monitoring learning plans.
  • Learns and maintains a level of technical knowledge sufficient to prepare and present defined operational courses of limited technical content; completes certification on all safety modules; completed certification on additional platform(s) and/or processes; actively certifies others on those platform(s) and/or processes.
  • With guidance, prepares technical training materials to include new course development for process improvement and enhancement. With assistance, may revise existing course materials and augment documentation to fill gaps in released materials.
  • With guidance, may perform maintenance and repairs on training systems; helps to ensure system functionality can support course objectives; confirms all safety/6S related mandates are installed on training documentation as appropriate.
  • Functions as training team liaison on projects of limited scope and complexity.
  • Develop new procedures and best-known methods and incorporate into training materials.
  • Observe technical activities to determine operating procedure and detail.
  • Interview personnel to become familiar with products & methods.
  • Study tech docs to integrate a technology, operating procedure, production sequence and detail.
  • Review published materials and recommend revisions.
  • Communicates with logistics operations to obtain current process information for course updates.

U.S. Salary Range:
$56,000.00 - $77,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
