Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Manage the operations of resellers in the Americas. Responsible for the end-to-end operation of Apple's business with Apple's resellers. Analyze the demand forecast, order book and inventory levels with resellers to maintain optimal POS-level inventory that will maximize revenue or sell-thru. Develop and influence supply and demand forecasts both internally (within operations) and externally (resellers). Work with functional leaders to understand account business problems and processes, and work towards solutions. Identify and drive account process improvement opportunities. Build and review weekly allocation plan. Ensure supply visibility plan is communicated to partners in a timely manner. Remain knowledgeable of resellers' performance requirements, product line and service offerings. Strengthen business relationships with Apple's customers, including end-users, external partners, sales, and internal partners. Drive and participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) engagement with resellers. International travel required 5%. 40 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Actively forecasting product demand across multiple product families, lines of business and in various time horizons
  • Planning, preparing and leading weekly reviews with accounts to highlight operational issues, supply status, and discuss new business opportunities
  • Using expertise to influence the account's ordering behavior, defining purchase order requirements and pricing, achieve and succeed the targeted sell-in volumes in each market
  • Planning, preparing and delivering executive presentations using the "Net it Out" framework with the focus of synthesizing large data sets into digestible insights
  • Performing advanced Excel modeling and data analysis to evaluate and provide recommendations on business cases or to identify new business opportunities
  • Performing data driven analysis of supply and demand leveraging prior experience and available metrics and under time constrains/pressure to attend to customer escalations
  • Tracking every stage of the order lifecycle using available tools to monitor the account's shipments and escalate to internal teams when necessary to fulfill customers' orders
  • Spanish Language: Native knowledge or proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading
