Key Qualifications

  • Excellent understanding and application of a scripting language such as Python, Ruby, or Bash
  • Experience with test automation and frameworks 2-5 years of automation infrastructure.
  • Excellent ability to triage problems QA experience or exposure to good testing methodologies preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills Excellent communication skills Some exposure to hardware, from home electronics projects to building a PC from parts

Description

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our devices deliver world-class battery performance. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and Implementing Automated Tests: You will develop comprehensive automated tests for power consumption, utilizing cutting-edge techniques to achieve precision and efficiency. - Analyzing and Reporting Test Results: Your expertise will extend to post-processing and reporting test results, providing valuable insights to stakeholders. - Ensuring Performance Excellence: You will execute tests, compare results against expectations, and promptly triage any observed battery life issues, demonstrating your meticulous attention to detail. - Orchestrating Testing Efforts: With multiple tests running simultaneously across diverse scenarios, your ability to manage and track results will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards. We seek a proactive innovator with the creativity and initiative to enhance our workflow. Education & Experience

Bachelors or Masters degree in CS/CE

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,800.00 and $229,400.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
