Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Drive supply chain planning optimization through process changes, data analysis, and visibility and implement the new technology solutions if required using knowledge of planning process and technical solutions. Advocate for functional teams to define and deliver solution capabilities, including requirements and user-testing, to support the broader Supply Chain planning strategies. Coordinate functional teams and Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) team to ensure that the business requirements are complete and met by the proposed technology solutions, including communicating with the solution teams and users. Work with functional stakeholders to define and manage business processes and technology roadmaps in support of long-term strategies. Inspire change by implementing new ideas effectively within the Apple culture, including proposing automation of data exchange, collaboration, or plan generation. Influence decisions and change management through collaboration, leadership, and a customer-focused approach by communicating with stakeholders on key design decisions and project timelines and evaluating risks caused by the proposed changes. Manage and deliver complex projects by defining detailed timelines and identifying key milestones throughout the project's progress. Develop project justification proposals, business cases, and return on investment estimates by defining the benefits in numerical terms to obtain executive approval and funding. Gather and synthesize detailed, global business requirements and design specifications. Facilitate project-related testing, roll-out, training, and post-mortem work to bring new solutions into a production environment. Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks in resource availability, technical bugs, and scope creep to management and executive teams. Addresses escalations, quickly assess and develop root cause analysis and problem solutions for operations escalations. Define and implement KPIs for operational metrics. Identify key success measures for projects being implemented to improve project efficiency and accuracy. International and Domestic travel required 5%. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $171,900 - $258,700/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Operations Research, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 5 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Demonstrating supply chain management experience to drive meaningful definition of supply chain issues and transformation required.
- Managing cross-functional projects with large teams and experience with stakeholder management, creating project plans, and managing requirements and deliverables using project management tools, such as Jira
- Implementing technical solutions in the space of supply chain and planning solutions
- Conducting process mapping for As-is and To-be processes using process mapping techniques and tools, such as Miro
- Communicating with global teams across various functions and seniority levels, keeping a broad team informed and engaged
- Using Agile and Waterfall Project Management methodologies to identify the appropriate project methodology given project objectives, nature of teams involved and timeline
- Conducting on risk management, including identifying potential risks, assessing their impacts, and planning mitigation strategies
- Conducting resource planning and management, including assessment, allocation, and utilization of resources, including team members and capital budget
