About the Role:
Come join the CrowdStrike Platform Professional Services team and our mission to protect our most critical customers. The Resident Technologist Consultant is responsible for providing dedicated support to customers with implementation and ongoing operational support of the CrowdStrike platform and related technologies. The Resident Technology Consultant will have responsibility for all aspects of the deployment and configuration of the initial customer engagement including; planning, installation, optimization, maintenance, and follow on support for the CrowdStrike platform and associated applications.
What You'll Do:
- Work closely and collaboratively with customer security and information technology teams
- Utilize common software deployment technologies to install CrowdStrike technology
- Leverage APIs, builds scripts and develop customized processes to support deployment, configuration and operationalizing CrowdStrike technology
- Leverage various CrowdStrike applications to support customers in vulnerability, asset management, identity, cloud security and more
- Guide customer leads with incident management functions when deployed on an onsite/remote engagement
- Assist customers with the integration of CrowdStrike into existing third-party tools, dashboards and business processes
- Act as the technical and/or senior level interface for customer concerns or escalations
- Maintain awareness of upcoming CrowdStrike technologies and features releases to assist customer with adoption and operationalizing into their security operations process
- Bachelor's degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field, and/or equivalent military or work experience
- Currently have or can obtain necessary security clearances, per customer requirement
- 5+ years of experience with endpoint security applications
- 3+ years of client-facing consulting experience
- Highly knowledgeable on Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to convey technical concepts to audiences with varying technical expertise, from analyst to executive levels
- Broad experience in computer and network systems security
- Solid analytical/problem solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems
- High level of motivation; self-starter; results driven
- Ability to travel to engage with clients, up to 20% of the time
- Previous experience with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, CCFA
- Scripting experience: PowerShell, Python, Bash
- Cloud platform experience: AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Familiarity with security tools like Nessus, ZScaler, Splunk, etc.
