iPhone HW Engineering Project Specialist (EPS)

Apple's iPhone Hardware Team is searching for a resourceful, passionate and energetic Engineering Project Specialist (EPS) librarian to help manage development hardware and equipment requests. Preferred candidate is detail oriented, organized and a strategic problem solver who enjoys collaborating with SW and HW Engineers.

Responsible for helping manage key areas of iPhone engineering programs such as requesting and managing materials. Responsible for knowing differences between material type, build and configurations. Tracking, receiving, organizing and distributing material to engineering team. Publish expected material ETA's and material on-hand associated with engineering builds Collection of old material for proper disposal. Manage equipment used by engineering team: receiving, unpacking, entering equipment information into database, allocating and tracking. Equipment will include oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters but not limited to those pieces of equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or 3+ years of industry experience
  • Understand inventory management requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written/presentational skills
  • Motivated, meticulous and results driven creative problem solver

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities
  • Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating priorities, and
  • initiatives
  • Ability to complete tasks on time
  • Self starter and can work with ambiguity
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Proficient with Jira, iWork applications such Numbers or MS Excel
  • Must be able to lift 45lbs
  • Off-hour support may be needed via email and phone

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $101,192 and $197,500 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
