Our Test Fixture Mechanical Engineering team plays a crucial role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and excellence of our products. POSITION SUMMARY: We seek an Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to lead and support projects and initiatives for the Hardware Test Engineering team. This role is pivotal in orchestrating the program activities from concept through New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, ensuring timelines and standards are met or exceeded, and best practices are globalized throughout the organization.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5yrs experience
  • Validated experience in manufacturing management and/or design management, or other experiences that exhibit the hallmarks of strong integrity in these areas.
  • Proven experience in handling program/project risks.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement efficiency improvement initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-driven environment.
  • This position requires up to 25% travel.

Description

Key Responsibilities: 1. Program Management: - Lead and handle the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to test fixture development and deployment across the NPI lifecycle. - Ensure project objectives, timelines, and budgets are defined, supervised, and met. - Coordinate multi-functional teams and handle collaborator communications to ensure project alignment and cohesion. - Encourage open communication and collaborative problem-solving. 2. RISK MANAGEMENT: - Identify, assess, and handle program/project risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are developed and implemented to address potential impacts. - Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across functions. 3. EFFICIENCY OPTIMIZATION AND INITIATIVE LEADERSHIP: - Continually identify and drive efficiency improvement opportunities throughout the test fixture NPI lifecycle, optimizing processes for effectiveness, supply chain resiliency and cost efficiency. - Lead and collaborate with multi-functional partners to turn lessons learned/risks identified into clear, logical problem statements; solutions that meet the needs of our unique user group; and, when possible, resolve if/how to scale solutions beyond the needs of our group to Apple at large. 4. MANUFACTURING & DESIGN MANAGEMENT: - Leverage experience in manufacturing and/or design management to provide valuable insights and mentorship in the development and execution of test fixture projects. - Ensure design reviews, manufacturability assessments, and other key processes are optimally conducted.

Education & Experience

- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business Administration

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700.00 and $282,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
