Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design intuitive, learnable, and consistent interfaces. Work to specify how user input and interaction mechanisms work and push to innovate those concepts across products. Create a user interface that makes conversion simple, even when the feature is complex. Contribute and maintain a design system, providing logic and rules for a variety of use cases. Work in a studio environment and participate in individual and group critiques. Understand customer goals, business requirements, and technical constraints, and work within project parameters. Participate in QA as it pertains to content and file bugs as necessary. Work with the Human Interface team to solve UI challenges in response to product requirements and the Engineering team to ensure design quality by auditing implementation during development, upholding the Apple design principles. Work alongside designers, product managers, engineers, and cross functional teams to ensure a successful product for both our business and our customers. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Human- Computer Interaction or related field and 2 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Conducting quality assurance (QA) processes for content, identifying and documenting bugs as necessary, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive problem
  • resolution.
  • Informing product decisions on customer goals, analyzing customer feedback, building data pipelines and dashboards, and synthesizing insights.
  • Developing interfaces by monitoring direct customer feedback, A/B testing, and building data pipelines and analytics dashboards for experiments.
  • Creating prototypes through code to communicate design concepts and interactions.
  • Using code HTML, CSS or JavaScript to build high-fidelity designs.
  • Using software development patterns and understanding of software architecture to assess technical feasibility during the design process.
  • Designing color, keyboard, and screen reader accessibility as per Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
  • Documenting production specifications/redlines, and experience communicating interaction, visual elements, patterns, and motion details to engineering.
