Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Perform visual design across all Apple Services. Responsible for bringing an uncompromising bar of quality to the look and feel of digital experiences and how they're represented across platforms. Work across a variety of design areas, including branding, visual design, art direction and interactive. Responsible for deliverables including design mockups, production of visual assets and producing documentation required for implementation with engineering teams. Utilize visual and user interface design skills, as well as user-centered design principals, along with having an affinity for consistency, color use, typography, and a keen eye for subtle details. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $217,610 - $312,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Graphic Design, Web Design, Illustration, Business Administration or related and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 5 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Conceptualizing, designing and implementing visual elements including designing symbols, app icons, icon systems, illustration, motion storyboards, UI, or physical representations of products, based on product requirements.
  • Producing deliverables including design concepts, mockups, and production of visual assets using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Sketch, and Keynote.
  • Designing for accessibility and inclusivity using iterative techniques in assessing contrast or using layout tools such as Sketch to accommodate for dynamic text sizing.
  • Formatting designs for print output using Adobe InDesign and formatting for appropriate color spaces, bleeds, margins, etc.
  • Managing relationships with outside vendors and specialists to create additional artifacts of the user experience such as sound/audio.
  • Translating design solutions to web by working with engineers to implement solutions that are native to web interactions such as scroll and other navigation paradigms.
  • Bringing static design solutions to life through animation using Adobe After Effects or other timeline-based programs that enable motion.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Production, Product Marketing, and Senior Management through small and large group discussions to determine a creative and strategic outcome that is intuitive, functional, creative and feasible.
  • Creating 3D visual art by modeling, texturizing, lightning and rendering using Cinema 4D, Redshift and other advanced rendering engines.
  • Creating 2D and 3D animation using After Effects and Cinema 4D, including applying motion capture and camera tracking to elevate visual appeal and concept storytelling.
