Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Support system-level SerDes compliance and high-speed IO validation efforts that Mac System Technology is responsible for executing across all Mac programs. Support the end-to-end compliance process for all portable and desktop programs. Contribute to the flow bring, validation and correlation. Perform debugging in collaboration with Hardware and System teams to drive silicon, hardware, and tunable issues for USB-C interface. Perform PHY adaptation validation with different channel scenarios to verify platform level integration robustness of these 3rd party and Apple IPs. Perform hardware-level validation as well as simulation efforts to correlation with hardware validation. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- BERT usage for high-speed Rx compliance testing
- Scope usage for high-speed Rx and Tx compliance
- Calibration processes for performing Rx and Tx testing
- High Speed IO Architecture and compliance requirements
- Transmission line experience for debugging of issues identified during compliances testing
