The Data Center Facilities Team is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to provide focused, expert-level functional knowledge and hands-on support of critical environments and data center operations using a CMMS platform. This is a fast-moving, dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success. Excellent project and time-management skills, with an ability to organize and drive critical tasks and objectives in support of organizational goals is valued.

Description

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing detailed management solutions and reporting to provide scheduled and on-demand maintenance for data center infrastructure. In addition to developing KPIs, scope of work, frequencies, and risk levels for maintenance performed at multiple locations. Responsibilities Oversee and schedule vendors and local Facilities Teams for approved tasks that are listed within the CMMS program. Maintain established maintenance frequency and scope standards for all tasks within the CMMS program. Monitor and route "On-Demand" maintenance activities. Ensure approved procedures and safety requirement are associated to maintenance activities where applicable. Track and assist in the accurate and timely completion of all work order requests including associating and filing field service reports with CMMS task tickets. Provide detailed CMMS reporting and analytics to drive efficiency improvements. (Work order status, equipment deficiencies, time utilization, etc.) Monitor Apple Change Management systems to coordinate with Data Center personnel and Apple internal business groups to schedule equipment maintenance. Administrative responsibilities of the CMMS to include add/remove user accounts, upgrades to the CMMS software program, training of new users, and add/changes of equipment records. Maintain data integrity of the database. Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime as required and occasional travel within the US.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience working in Data Center environment or similar
  • Experience with maintenance management tools such as Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience with Computer Maintenance Management System to schedule and coordinate facility maintenance
  • Experience presenting technical information detailing specific projects or schedules
  • Ability to encourage, coach, train, and develop personnel to consistently provide extraordinary customer service and commit to results
  • Strategic problem solver who sees the big picture while working with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Ability to forge reciprocal relationships with multi-functional teams and vendors
  • Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor your message to your audience
  • Experience presenting technical information detailing specific projects or schedules
  • Ability to prioritize and demonstrate excellent time management.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of risk mitigation practices and their application in critical sites.
  • Advanced knowledge of safety procedures and equipment, procedures and established techniques.
