We are looking for an experienced People Manager to lead a team of extraordinary Administrative Assistants. In addition to being an impactful leader, we seek someone who is organized, analytical, and has strong business insight and the communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people across multiple job functions and levels. This role will work closely with the head of engineering operations to allocate support to the growing areas of the organization. You will partner with the leadership team to develop and deploy mentorship programs and ensure a continuing professional growth plan for the team. Your main focus will be not only on people management, but also project management, contributing largely towards the overall centralized functionality of the administrative team.

Description
* Manage a team of Administrative Assistants across local and international offices: run staff meetings, set and track team goals, give regular feedback, support career growth, and handle hiring and onboarding. * Update, document, and improve administrative processes and tools to make daily operations more efficient. * Lead projects that improve the admin team's operations, such as managing office space, onboarding new hires, developing training materials, running morale events, and building mentorship programs. * Plan and schedule office events, including team meetings, orientations, trainings, and offsites. * Track and manage the employee engagement budget for the admin team, ensuring spending is aligned to team priorities. * Share updates and information from leadership and cross-functional partners with the admin team. * Coordinate recruiting activities for open admin roles, working with recruiting partners as needed. * Build strong working relationships with senior executives and their teams across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-5 years of people management experience
- Prior EA experience supporting an executive
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to lead others through ambiguity
- Ability to influence others; handle conflict appropriately, know when to escalate issues and when to apply common sense
- Ability to work independently, handle frequently changing needs, and delegate tasks when necessary
- Proven problem-solving abilities with the ability to anticipate change and act efficiently
- Poised under pressure with the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice
- A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with people at all levels is imperative
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion and desire to make things work better
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a Mac, as well as with Keynote, Numbers, Pages, Excel, Word, and other productivity tools
- Experience building successful mentorship programs
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,400 and $243,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
