Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop and handle a project plan that follows the Apple Online Store Engineering project life. Outline the project goals, objective, resources, budget and timeline. Draft documents that serves as a roadmap for all the project stakeholders to understand status and goals of the project. Create and present the D2P pre-mobilization plan, Engineering Go (project approval) presentations and mobilization plan. Create, maintain, and communicate a project communication plan, risk plan, stakeholder (RACI) document, issues log, change control log, and weekly status reports. Work with the project technical lead, ensuring technical architecture diagram(s) for high level and low-level tech design are created. Use tools including Wrike, Radar and Manhattan (In-house tools), Keynote, Numbers and Jira are used for deliverables. Develop a project wiki page containing all the above project including project timeline and status, budget and resource plan, project tech design documents (blueprints, diagrams, detailed architecture), test plan and test cases, user training manuals, meeting minutes and change requests. Engineering project manager creates these documents using tools like Confluence, Keynote, OmniGraffle, Omni plan and Numbers. Conduct the following meetings per the communication plan: project kick off, requirements gap analysis sessions, technical design sessions, tech design playbacks, test planning, test kick off, deployment planning, change control review meetings, and weekly status meetings. Facilitate daily stand-ups and drive functional and technical issues to resolution by conducting brownbag sessions and JAD (Joint application development) sessions to understand and identify problem areas which are impediments to smooth delivery of projects. Run project defect reports and ensure scope is managed per the change control process. Ensure all required checkpoints are met for Information Security, Accessibility, and by tracking the progress of deliverables for each these milestones to ensure all checkpoints are completed per the initial plan. Responsible for weekly cross-functional status meetings and ensure weekly status reports are completed and communicated to the project team. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 - $213,700/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field and 1 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Education and/or experience must include each of the following skills:
  • Applying Technical project management in a Waterfall environment.
  • Applying Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies to deliver electronic commerce software development projects.
  • Using D2P (Development to production) planning to create project plans and roadmaps.
  • Applying Risk Management skills to identify potential risks to the project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Utilizing Requirement tracking to manage the scope of the projects.
  • Requirement tracking to ensure the project deliverables align with the stakeholders needs and expectations.
