Description
- Develop and assess new display technologies, across a range of Apple products and systems - Design algorithms that can predict and improve the performance of OLED displays in Apple products - Work with internal teams and external suppliers to characterize, model, and improve display performance through models - Validate performance metrics and analyze large quantity data during both development and production phases. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate novel display technologies

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Applied Physics, or related engineering field such as materials engineering/electrical engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience of relevant experience
- Experience with coding in high-level programming languages such as Python or C
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Applied Physics, or related engineering field such as materials engineering/electrical engineering.
- Capability of deep learning algorithm design based on time-sequence data (experience with transformer models preferred).
- Knowledge in organic light emitting diodes (OLED) displays.
- Experience in optical modeling techniques, such as TMM, Raytracing, FDTD or RCWA.
- Capability to analyze large quantity data and draw meaningful/actionable conclusions.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders across multiple teams.
- Proficiency in programming with any of the following languages: Matlab, Python, Java, C++
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
