Join our team to play a critical role in shaping the tools and infrastructure that enable cutting-edge AI development. In this role, you will take ownership of developing scalable backend services that underpin interactive and analytical applications. You'll have the opportunity to influence the direction of our software stack, tackle complex engineering challenges, and work alongside a collaborative group of technologists dedicated to innovation and impact. Your contributions will directly support the evolution of AI systems at Apple by powering the internal platforms used for measurement, experimentation, and data exploration.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as: AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience in building real-world backend systems and robust APIs.
- Solid experience with databases, SQL / NoSQL and embedded data stores.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Javascript, Python, Go, Java, or similar.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
- BS in Computer Science and + relevant experiences

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work well across multiple teams and functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for engineering excellence and quality.
- Comfortable working in an agile development environment.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
