Key Responsibilities:
- Market Development & Strategic Growth
• Identify and capitalize on high-impact opportunities within smart manufacturing, robotics, industrial equipment, green energy infrastructure.
• Develop market entry and growth strategies aligned with China's industrial upgrade policies and carbon neutrality initiatives.
- Government & Industry Engagement
• Establish and manage relationships with key government bodies (e.g., MIIT, NDRC, Ministry of Ecology and Environment), industry alliances (e.g., China Robotics Industry Alliance, China EV100), and local champions (e.g., CATL, BYD, Siasun).
• Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes, industrial subsidies, and R&D funding programs to inform and adapt business strategies.
- Ecosystem Building & Partnership Management
• Forge alliances with local OEMs, system integrators, R&D institutes, and universities to co-develop solutions in line with smart factory, energy transition, and sustainability goals.
• Enable joint R&D, pilot projects, and technology adoption programs in collaboration with regional stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Ø Experience:
• 10+ years in business development, government affairs, or strategic partnerships within advanced manufacturing, robotics, green energy, or industrial equipment in China.
• Proven success in closing large-scale government or enterprise deals.
Ø Knowledge:
• Deep understanding of China's industrial policies (Made in China 2025, 14th Five-Year Plan, Dual Carbon Goals).
• Familiarity with R&D funding mechanisms, local procurement processes, and carbon neutrality frameworks.
Ø Skills:
• Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across government, industry, and academia.
• Ability to articulate complex technical value propositions (e.g., AI simulation, digital twin) to both technical and executive audiences.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
Ø Preferred:
• Existing network within robotics consortia, energy alliances, and green manufacturing forums.
• Experience working with global software vendors in digital transformation projects.
