We are searching for a Sr. Manager of Key Accounts to lead our On-Premise and Off-Premise channel strategy at Golden Road.

  • Lead the On-Premise and Off-Premise channel Category Leadership effort and team providing insights, tools, and analysis for utilization with key customers and Golden Road management.
  • Provide strategic and analytic leadership to support to develop channel and customer plans.
  • Target emerging accounts to develop opportunities for sales in new sub channels.
  • Sell-in distribution and brand promotions tto national on-premise and off-premise national retail chain buyers.
  • Develop and manage annual account plans for national retail chain accounts.
  • Liasion with wholesaler management and field sales teams to close gaps.
  • Establish positive working relationships with top level NRS chain account contacts at Anheuser-Busch.
  • Prepare and present business reviews to accounts, often at senior levels in their organization.
  • Use category mgmt. principals to influence a chain's overall strategic management of the beer category.
  • Obtain preferred supplier status with major NRS accounts as appropriate
  • Mentor and lead a team consisting of an Off-Premise Large Format KAM, an On-Premise KAM and an E-Commerce Manager.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree is required, an emphasis in business is preferred.
  • Sales experience in consumer goods to retail chain accounts preferred, preferably within the beer industry.
  • Knowledge of retail selling initiatives such as category management and information-based selling.
  • General knowledge of beverage industry and direct store delivery.
  • Thorough understanding of beer wholesaler operations and retail sales execution.
  • High level of expertise with analyzing information, including strong skills with BIR, IRI and VIP.
  • Basic PC skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communicator and presenter.
