Sr. Director - National Retail Sales(Small Format Turbo)

In this role, you will build and implement retail strategies to deliver our commercial priorities. You will also lead a team of Retail Sales Directors and Key Account Managers. Data driven insights, ability to translate learnings into action, and influencing our internal and external partners will be critical parts of your daily routine.

  • Develop and manage annual account plans for regional off-premise retail chain accounts.
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Sell-in brand promotions to national off-premise retail chain headquarters.
  • Manage and effectively utilize Sales and Marketing budgets.
  • Obtain ad feature or display support from retailers.
  • Prepare and present business reviews to accounts, often at senior levels in their organization.
  • Use category mgmt. principals to influence a chain's overall strategic management of the beer category.
  • Work closely with Sales Directors to develop strategic retail plans to drive incremental sales and share gains for A-B.
  • Recruit, coach train, and mentor retail Key Account Managers and Sales Directors to improve chain account performance

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree is required, an emphasis in business is preferred.
  • Sales experience in consumer goods to retail chain accounts preferred.
  • Knowledge of retail selling initiatives such as category management and information-based selling.
  • General knowledge of beverage industry and direct store delivery.
  • Thorough understanding of beer wholesaler operations and retail sales execution.
  • High level of expertise with analyzing information.
  • Basic PC skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communicator and presenter.
