ROLE SUMMARY

Our sales organization includes our field reps (who sell our leading brands into retail accounts, bars and restaurants across the country) but that barely scratches the surface. Opportunities include roles in forecasting, trade marketing, business and wholesaler development, pricing and promotion analysis and key account management; it's the strategic side of how we sell our beer. Sales are the backbone of our company-we work hard to get our product in the hands of every one of our target consumers... of legal drinking age of course.

In this role, you will be working directly with Key Accounts structure within the wholesaler network, cultivating a strategic relationship throughout the wholesaler organization. Using a strategic, forward thinking mindset, you will elevate our role/presence with retailers through the wholesaler key accounts team, driving clear collaboration and a selling partnership to our retailers. With the ambition of improved ABI share position with chain retailers across the market, you will be responsible for developing market level strategies, partnering with our commercial team, to align with, sell to and execute across chain retail.

Responsibilities

  • Full understanding and ability to use tools at your disposal to provide strategic oversight of the chain business: IRI, VIP Karma, Power BI dashboards, VIPR, RMIS, etc.
  • Drive support, aligned selling, and execution of key market priorities within 10YP, 1YP, and account plans

Lead the following processes:

  • Work closely with Sales Directors and Commercial Directors to develop strategic retail plans to drive incremental sales and share gains for A-B.
  • Pricing strategy development & price increase sell-in
  • Participate and be responsible for pilot projects on an ad-hoc basis
  • Routines (SPR) with senior management
  • Wholesaler planning & performance routine/meetings for regional off-premise retail chain accounts.
  • Trimester planning & strategy implementation for chain accounts
  • Support Commercial Directors to execute strategic plans with chain accounts
  • Understand the market dynamics and industry-specific trends and landscapes to bring new insights and solutions to grow balanced business results.
  • Build strong business relationships with key wholesalers and ensure a link between company objectives and customer objectives.
  • Build collaborative accounts plans with the wholesaler key account structures in partnership with internal KAMs


Job Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mandatory University Degree in Business or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of retail, distribution and/or wholesaler experience in a fast-paced, high performance consumer packaged goods environment
  • Strong leadership, influencing and communication skills - both internal and external
  • Strong Customer Management relationship skills
  • Knowledge of Commercial and Sales strategy, Distribution and Supply

PREFERRED

  • Industry Specific Market Knowledge
  • Knowledge of ABC laws & regulations and marketing & advertising guidelines for promotions
  • Knowledge of key consumer product drivers: distribution, merchandising, promotion, pricing, category management
