Role Summary:

A scrum master will help oversee the scrum and development teams both internal and external using agile mindset and scrum methodologies. You will act as a buffer between the scrum team and product owner by helping with conflict resolution. You are a facilitator between all teams and act as the point person responsible for understanding the big development pictures of each sprint.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the scrum team use agile methodology and scrum practices
  • Help the product owner and development teams achieve customer satisfaction
  • Lead the scrum and dev teams in self organization
  • Help product owner/business partners translate user stories, epics, business requirements, tech requirements into actional tasks that can be put into sprints
  • Ensure all epics and tasks are entered into Azure DevOps in the backlog with prioritization with the help of our business partners
  • Maintain Azure DevOps Projects/Teams/Boards for sprint cadences
  • Lead and facilitate all daily stand ups, grooming sessions, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives with all teams
  • Ensuring the right tasks are being worked on and making sure the team is fully deployed and not idle
  • Helping the team agree on what can be achieved during each development sprint
  • Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
  • Support the product owners and provide education where needed


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, computer science, business, or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience with software/product development teams is required
  • Scrum Master or PMP Certification required
  • Ability to analyze and think quickly to resolve conflict
  • Extensive experience with scrum and agile techniques
  • Experience with Azure DevOps Boards, Backlogs, Dashboards and associated capabilities strongly preferred
  • Ability to work with and lead a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
