Job Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment, disassembling and reassembling of machinery, motors gearbox to replace, and replace bearings, bushings, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain PLC and variable speed drive controlled high speed production equipment and batch processes.
  • Maintain the power distribution of plant equipment.
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment, using precision measurement tools.
  • Interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
  • Adhere to plant safety and 5S requirements; Complete assigned work efficiently and per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
  • Lead process improvement and initiate change. Analyze process data and make decisions on equipment maintenance and improvement activities.
  • Ability to work on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays on varying shifts (midnights, days or afternoon). Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates.I-EC1


Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience within industrial/manufacturing environment with knowledge base around high speed equipment: mechanical work, valve replacement, conveyor bearing and chain replacement, motor/gearbox replacement with alignment, lube routes; Precision machining skills and welding ability preferred
  • Comfort/experience using computers on a day to day basis within programs such as: basic Microsoft office, computer maintenance management systems (CMMS); Basic knowledge of computer networking (routers, Ethernet, switches, etc) preferred
  • Basic knowledge of PLC/ladder logic over varying platforms including but not limited to: Allen Bradley / Rslogix5 / ControlLogix / Siemens etc.
  • Basic knowledge surrounding process calibrations and instrumentation including but not limited to pressure, flow and temperature
  • Troubleshooting experience including but not limited to variable drives, servo motors, 3 phase motors, input/output devices

Benefits

  • Part-time
  • Wage Rate: $32.78/hr, 1.5X Saturday, 2X Sunday
  • No guarantees of work hours. During the slower production times when not much weekend work is being scheduled, the weekenders will be rotated so that we can fairly distribute the work
  • Free beer! (2 cases per month)
