Key Account Manager - Package Liquor - Beyond Beer

The Package Liquor KAM is responsible for achieving key sales objectives by managing key package liquor accounts, aggressively growing new accounts, and facilitating the growth of the Beyond Beer Wine & Spirits brand value in a defined market area.

  • Grows the Beyond Beer presence and share in key package liquor accounts
  • Manages all aspects of key account business; builds relationships, sells in and executes programs, achieves Beyond Beer retail execution priorities and coordinates brand promotion
  • Grows account universe by identifying opportunities and building relationships
  • Actively communicates with Anheuser-Busch sales teams and wholesaler personnel
  • Collaborates with Activation Army to ensure execution excellence in the marketplace
  • Creates and communicates package liquor programming and pricing with retailers
  • Creates action plans and strategies to achieve sales goals
  • Utilizes sales tools and analyzes sales data
  • Creates customized events and promotions for accounts (i.e. Samplings)
  • Leverages account relationships to help wholesalers sell in products within the Beyond Beer portfolio
  • Assists wholesalers with promotions and building displays
  • Captures and shares field insights with Anheuser-Busch Sales Team and Wholesalers (e.g. competitive landscape, what's selling well, etc.)
  • Provides recaps and documents account activity as needed to brands and/or wholesalers

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 4-6 years of package liquor sales experience, ideally in Wine or Spirits
  • Knowledge of marketing and sales organization
  • Experience analyzing data
  • Strong communication skills both externally and internally, required
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and internal system tools, required
  • Must possess knowledge of beverage/consumer goods industry
