ROLE SUMMARY
"BeerTech" is a new function inside Anheuser-Busch, which operates like a startup. BeerTech is responsible for building digital products that are a competitive advantage to our business and comprises three technical guilds (Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering) which support our Product Office.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of understanding business problems so that you can build data assets to support products that invoke people to take data driven decisions. This will entail developing a deep understanding of existing processes and the data that supports them. Through high frequency iterations and the use of best-in-class technologies, you will create and maintain data pipelines to support business needs. You will also have the opportunity to influence architecture and technology to promote the quality and innovation necessary for industry changing data driven decisions at all levels of the company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meaningfully relate data for key products across the company
- Daily interactions with Business and Data Science teams to iterate quickly using Agile development methodology
- Learn new technologies in order to utilize the best platforms available
- Build data models using the latest cloud technologies that support fast, low maintenance and scalable problem solving
- Create sustainable pipelines and support Data Science and the Front End team on all data needs
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related engineering field
- Relevant real-world experience developing scalable data assets
- Experience writing efficient SQL queries
- Experience in building data models on cloud technology
- Experience with Agile ways of working to accelerate iteration cycles
