Farm Ops - Seasonal

Job Description:

  • Assist in Global Barley Research functions for planting, pesticide application, operation of large Agricultural equipment for field maintenance such as mowing, discing, field cultivating. Research plot maintenance, harvesting, irrigation, landscape maintenance - including mowing, trimming/edging and tree trimming. Assist with routine equipment maintenance and repairs and in facility maintenance projects.
  • Ability to work in a team environment or autonomously to complete work
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures (SOP's), plant and safety policies are followed at all times.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Available to work full-time Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, as well as some weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
  • Assist in cleanliness of shop, equipment shed, warehouse, facility, and property to Anheuser-Busch standards

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Mechanical and/or Agricultural related field recommended. Farm experience or background is preferred
  • Ability to perform and meet the physical demands of the position including but not limited to lifting 50 pounds, working in dusty and wet environments including varying outdoor temperatures with proper PPE
  • Valid driver's license required
