Senior Sourcing Specialist
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist supporting Corporate Services specifically HR (including benefits, talent acquisition, talent development and inclusive excellence) at American Family Insurance Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives and managing supplier relationships to ensure the procurement of high-quality products or services at competitive prices. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, develop sourcing strategies, and negotiate contracts that align with the company's goals and objectives. Your expertise in sourcing, contract management, and supplier risk management will be essential in optimizing costs, mitigating risks, and enhancing the overall value delivered to the organization.
Position Compensation Range:
$78,000.00 - $128,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.
Primary Accountabilities
- Defines the scope and strategy for medium to high complexity sourcing events. Identifies, develops and qualifies sourcing opportunities based on spend, value opportunity, risk and resource availability. Develops and presents proposed objectives, strategy and project plan to business partners and sponsors, obtains approvals and aligns sponsorship and resources needed to move project into active execution. Leads cross functional teams to successful outcomes.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
- Extensive knowledge of sourcing practices including RFxs, contract negotiation, market intelligence.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of supplier performance management techniques.
- Solid knowledge employing advanced end-to-end strategic sourcing processes, practices and tools to large, complex spend categories.
- Demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of contract negotiation techniques.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of project management practices.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of goods and services contract terms.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of preparing reports, charts and presentations.
- Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies, practices, techniques and tools.
In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110
Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location (or 35-mile radius for Boston). #LI-Hybrid
