The AGL Cross Border Exports team is looking for a Network Program Manager. This highly visible role will centrally help develop a best-in-class Transportation network for the North American marketplace to deliver high quality customer experience, while minimizing cost and improving fulfillment speed for exports.
The role will involve understanding the physical and virtual transportation processes, from our Fulfillment centers (FCs), Sort Centers (SCs) and Last mile carriers. As part of the Export Network Operations team you will combine business process knowledge, data analysis and senior stakeholder management to identify and drive programs within our transportation network.
You will work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment that requires attention to detail and comfortable working cross-functionally across various teams and stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:

Development and execution of network design and optimization strategy to support cost reductions, increase delivery speed and improve delivery experience for Amazon customers.

Collaborating with multiple stakeholders within ATS team (Sort Centers, Line Haul, Amazon Air, Finance) and outside ATS team with NA Customer Fulfillment, and Amazon Logistics.

Continually optimize the network through evaluation of changes and driving network related projects and process changes.

Managing operational processes and utilization on a weekly basis to ensure right performance while optimizing the costs for the entire network

Improving/automating the operational decision making process to improve efficiency.

Developing new metrics, dashboards to monitor the efficiency of the Transportation network.
Working closely with colleagues (Operations Research Scientists and Network Planners) to drive analysis, business cases and alignment with business stake-holders.

Supporting the development of Analytical Tools defining the functional specifications and being a primary user of these tools.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree
3+ years of experience in similar role including Program/project management, Consulting, Process improvement or Operations management
3+ years of experience in complex data processing and analyzing, drawing conclusions from data, and building basic models that support business decisions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA/MS Supply Chain, Computer Science, Business, or other related discipline preferred
Analytical skills and business acumen
Stakeholder management
Past experience in Fulfillment Systems
Problem-solving and organization-minded
Experience implementing Lean Six Sigma and Project Management concepts and frameworks
Experience delivering end-to-end operations and technology solutions while working through obstacles that present themselves along the way
