The AWS Strategy, Planning, and Operations Team is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Program Manager to drive deliverables and results for our global marketing programs. The Sr. Program Manager will work with cross functional teams to manage strategic initiatives that span the entire organization. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in bringing our most important initiatives to life. The Program Manager will develop and manage project plans and workback schedules, collaborate with content developers, communicate with cross-functional stakeholdersincluding AWS leadership and report on results. This includes identifying and communicating risks, implementing process improvements, and scaling best practices across the organization. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, a bias for action, and a proven track record of managing multiple complex projects at once. You are meticulously organized, skilled at written and verbal communication, and comfortable navigating through rapidly changing priorities.

Key job responsibilities

• Create and manage plans for strategic initiatives.
• Drive deadlines and approvals on tight schedule.
• Communicate status, risks, and blockers with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with a variety of teams, including product marketing, field marketing, events.
• Analyze metrics to uncover insights and opportunities for improvement.
• Report on program results to AWS leadership team and global sales/marketing stakeholders.
• Drive internal communications and partnerships.
• Implement processes and mechanisms for scale and quality control.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in program or project management
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing, or another relevant field of study

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of program/project management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating content development
• Project/Program management certification (PMP, CAPM, CSM, etc).
• MBA
• A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering
• Experience in managing marketing campaigns and content for a high-tech global company
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs and content

The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $98k - 160k per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
