Overview:

The SMB Account Executive will design and execute a plan to accelerate and scale the growth of the SMB sales at Alteryx spending over 90% of their time in partner engagement selling direct to end users and prospecting.

Responsibilities:

  • As part of the SMB selling motion, Account Executives will be expected to work with resellers as part of the Partner organization.
  • High volume, high transaction environment so candidate must have experience using LinkedIn Navigator, Salesloft, ZoomInfo and/or Salesforce.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing and business development leadership to align go ­to market (GTM) activities in specific industries and territories.
  • Work with Alteryx partners to develop and tactically execute GTM plans which will include lead generation activities, sales motions, training/education and development of joint offerings
  • Work with cross-­functional teams to drive success for Alteryx strategic company initiatives.
  • Ability to make a notable impact within your first 90 days at Alteryx, focusing on building a strong pipeline of SMB buiness includiing working with our Partner resellers.
  • Carry a revenue quota and MBO's

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in the following areas: SMB, Direct Sales of which a minimum of 5 years must be working in partner engagement and direct sales.
  • Strategic thinker who is able to blend technology and business strategy to develop compelling plans for new partner initiatives.
  • Ability to create thoughtful and compelling SMB business cases.
  • Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and partner constituencies including senior level executives, legal, finance, support, sales, and marketing experts.
  • Strong understanding of the Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics market space
  • Ability to negotiate skillfully in tough situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively present to all levels of management
  • Ability to influence functional groups to a shared vision.
  • Strong enterprise sales back ground
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the business
  • Excellent planning and time management skills
  • Bachelor's degree or other significant business experience; MBA from top school preferred.

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.

The on target earnings (OTE) range for this role in New York is between 210k - 220k.
