Senior SMB Account Executive

Remote

We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Senior SMB Account Executive to drive sales and growth within the India market. The ideal candidate will possess strong hunter skills combined with excellent account management abilities.

As a Senior SMB Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, as well as nurturing and expanding relationships with existing SMB customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively prospect and qualify new SMB customers within the India market through outbound sales efforts, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets, with a focus on acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and solution demonstrations to understand customer requirements and position Zendesks products and services effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts, leveraging consultative selling techniques to drive value and ROI.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Development Representatives, Sales Consultant, partners and Customer Success Managers, to ensure seamless customer onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to effectively position Zendesks offerings and differentiate our value proposition.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in SMB sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software sales, preferably within the SaaS or technology industry.
  • Strong hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and solutions effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a passion for driving customer success.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, results-driven environment while maintaining a high level of accountability and integrity.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in regional languages is a plus.

Please note that anyone hired into this position must be physically located in and plan to work from Karnataka.
