Software Engineer Senior Consultant I

Application Developer develops Java/React JS code for intermediate modules,participates in design reviews, conducts code reviews, creates test plans and resolves moderate defects. TheDeveloper designs, documents, reviews, and maintains components of software solutions for intermediateprojects. It also includes reacting to production problems or supporting production changes where thoseapplications are operating.
Strong understanding of Java and EIS concepts
4 to 8 year of experience
Knowledge of the Insurance business is a must.
Highly motivated with good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to lead conversations and coordinate activities across various time zones.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assignments, ability to work well under pressure, as well as abilityto work independently.
Ability to be accountable for key processes of high complexity, high risk, and high visibility.
Ability to learn new skills quickly and willingness to challenge yourself
Advanced SQL skills (individuals need to have solid SQL debugging and tuning skills)

Exposure and knowledge to Agile methodologies
Experience in Java development and web front-end development.
Experience deploying to cloud environments a plus
Exposure to test-driven development
Strong communication skills
