Where we need help
We’re looking for someone who will help ensure that all inventory movements are accurately reflected in SAP. This role involves analyzing supply chain data, ensuring data accuracy within SAP, and collaborating with various departments. You will work closely with our Planning, Logistics, Operations, IT, 3PL warehouse, and Retail teams to ensure systematic accuracy. You are well-versed in SAP business processing of inbound deliveries, goods movements, stock transfer orders, material management, pricing, IDOCS, sales orders, outbound deliveries, and reporting.
What does the job entail?
- Proactively monitor and reconcile inventory discrepancies comparing 3PL WMS inventory to SAP inventory .
- Manage and resolve EDI IDOC errors, including fulfillments, inventory movements, purchase orders, ASN, and Invoices.
- Most inventory movements are automated. Provide first-level support for reconciling non-automated inventory transactions, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity..
- Maintain comprehensive SAP master data for inventory and supply chain, including the creation and deprecation of new box types, sizes, and material characteristics.
- Contribute to designing, testing, and implementing new SAP functionalities or enhancements related to supply chain and inventory management.
- Develop clear and concise training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to facilitate effective utilization of SAP functionalities.
- Develop and implement a weekly reporting cadence to monitor inventory accuracy within SAP, pinpointing data gaps and facilitating their resolution through engagement with relevant departments.
What kind of person are we looking for?
- BA/BS or equivalent
- 5+ years of work experience with SAP
- Proven hands-on experience with SAP SD and MM modules.
- SAP S/4 Hana Retail/Fashion is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent understanding of Supply Chain and Inventory processes within SAP.
- Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and deliver high-quality results within established timeframes
- Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to effectively communicate results and data to the internal team and clients
- Data driven with strong analytical and quantitative skills to identify and present opportunities and also measure success.

Work Environment
Work takes place in an office setting. This job may require working more than 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours a week. It requires the ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
of time and communicate effectively with a diverse audience in person, by phone and by computer. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift, push, and carry up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 15 lbs occasionally.
What do we offer?
The pay range for this role is: $115,000 - $130,000 if performed in our San Francisco, CA corporate office or remotely.
Allbirds routinely evaluates pay rates, and the ranges are subject to change based on market rates and other considerations. We factor in a number of components when determining starting pay, including the job and level you are hired into, location, skillset, experience and peer compensation.
