We’re looking for an experienced and motivated leader to join our Professional Services Team to lead a team of Implementation Engineers in North America. You will join a group of peers to propel our Digital Implementation Team to new heights, setting the standard in the industry. This position is based out of our San Francisco or New York office.
The Implementation Engineering team supports our large and strategic customers in solution design, integrating and going live in the quickest and most sustainable way possible, with use of comprehensive product knowledge. Implementation Engineers work on innovative complex projects ranging from Online payments integrations, In-Person Payments (IPP), Marketplaces, Card issuing programs and Financial Services.
What you’ll do
- Lead a team of implementation engineers to deliver exceptional customer experience, getting customers live efficiently, with robust and scalable integrations.
- Set clear goals and expectations, provide regular feedback, and support individual development through coaching and mentorship.
- Act as a sparring partner and escalation layer, supporting the team in navigating complex projects and technical challenges.
- Foster an inspiring, collaborative and feedback-driven team culture that reflects the Adyen Formula.
- Scale the team while preserving our unique culture and high standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to scale the (global) IM organization.
- Assist in executing strategic initiatives to advance our function's OKRs, address critical challenges, and manage major workload drivers.
Who you are
- 3+ years experience building and managing a team of implementation engineers, technical consultants or solutions engineers.
- You bring hands-on experience with integration projects in complex environments, ideally in professional services, payments, fintech, retail or enterprise technology.
- You have led or contributed to global process improvements, helping to scale tools and procedures for operational success.
- You understand how to navigate and influence within a global organization, effectively collaborating across time zones and cultures.
- You have a strong grasp of the dynamics of global commerce and the technical, regulatory, and operational components needed for customer success across regions.
- You are open to travel—domestically and internationally—when needed.
- (Nice to have) You have experience in E-Commerce, Unified Commerce, Marketplaces, or Financial Services.
