HCC Auditor/ Educator:

Requirements:
-CPC Certification
-Experience with HCC/ Risk Adjustment
-Experience auditing and educating providers in regards to HCC coding guidelines

Day to Day Responsibilities:
-Review medical records for accuracy and completeness
-Ensure the HCC codes are properly assigned and supported by the physician documentation
-Identify trends on missed Diagnosis codes or insufficient documentation
-Educate Providers based on findings
