Our client, a leader in program management and e-commerce technology to both the government and commercial clients, is seeking a financial analyst for a contract opportunity working onsite at a government facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in federal financial accounting OR audit, and will be able to pass a clearance background screen. They will be working onsite with a government agency in the Alexandria/Arlington area.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide technical accounting and advisory support. specifically in the area of financial statement audits and audit remediation
- Prepare weekly status reports
- Act as the liaison between the external auditors and client
- Review PBC requests and track delivery
- Prepare certification metrics
- Assist with risk assessment deliverables
Qualifications:
- BS in either Accounting or Finance
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated experience supporting a government agency
- Functional knowledge of Oracle preferred
- Past experience in internal controls, audit policy and GAAP
