Major Food Distributor located in Hunts Point Cooperative Market in the Bronx is looking for a Full-Time Accounts Payable Manager.
As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will oversee an accounts payable team, direct the processing of invoices and payments, and manage expense accounts and budget reports.
• Oversees reports regarding cash flow.
• Ensures correct payments are made in a timely manner.
• Develops guidelines for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account and inventory records.
• Analyzes expense reports and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment.
• Verifies payments by reviewing checks and vouchers.
• Reconciles accounts payable total and general ledger with other applicable records.

• Facilitates correct and timely preparation of budget reports and purchase journals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Trains and oversees employees involved in billing functions.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in a similar function
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
• Excellent Managerial and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
