Job Description:

The Claims Completion Associate will support a large Group Insurance Business contract. This associate will provide exemplary customer service by processing Short Term Disability (STD) Long Term Disability (LTD) disability claims in a timely and accurate fashion. This associate will be able to independently assess, analyze and render the appropriate claims decisions on STD LTD claims as directed by the client's standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Able to communicate with a variety of constituents with limited guidance and able to learn and transact using the client's systems
  • Expected to communicate clearly concisely to influence return to work, discuss terms of the certificate, and the basis of payment nonpayment
  • Works effectively with the team to accomplish goals, takes actions that respects the needs of others those of the organization
  • Responsible for the attempts to obtain missing information on short term and long term disability claims to include outreach to physicians, claimants and employers via email, fax or phone for missing information
  • Able to assess, analyze and render appropriate claims decisions utilizing client's documented process
  • Able to understand and maintain service levels when outreaching for missing information
  • May articulate and document their rationale for claim direction
  • Provide exceptional customer service either over the phone or through email
  • Provide clear documentation of activities performed
  • Utilize tools independently and accurately to identify work to be completed

  • Work hour flexibility - shift between 7am to 7pm CT

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in customer service and processing insurance claims
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer service to include written and verbal communication
  • Experience in a disability insurance environment
  • Strong MS applications experience
As required by theColorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $36,000 - $49,699 and information on benefits offered is here.
