You are:
A Risk Management and Assessment Sr. Analyst who will provide support for AFS Information Security Risk Management framework implementation. This role will assist with the initial implementation and then continue with data entry to confirm security control compliance and risk management for AFS CMMC systems. You are vital to the operations of the AFS Risk Management framework.

The work:
  • Facilitate the risk management process for AFS systems and services and will work closely with data owners to identify risk scores and mitigations
  • Responsible for routine reviews of the security risks for systems and services that are in scope for review
  • Facilitate and monitor submitted security risk assessment requests, facilitate review meetings and documentation requests, and reviewing responses to identify risks
  • Conduct verification and validation of security risk reviews and provide recommended mitigation or acceptance actions
  • Monitor risk task status, review risks with the data owners and track mitigation or acceptance actions to closure
  • Review responses to security risk tickets and confirm next steps
  • Review risk responses to identify risks and mitigation actions
  • Prioritize identified vulnerabilities based on security risk and recommend remediation actions
  • Track remediation actions to closure
  • Collaborate with other teams to collect information and deliver risk results and recommendations

Qualifications

Here's what you need:
  • US Citizenship required
  • 2 years experience with security vulnerability identification
  • 2 years experience reviewing policies and standards and determining compliance
  • 1 year experience with security auditing or compliance review
Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with NIST publications and CMMC requirements
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
