We’ve all had those days when nothing seems to be going right and your deadlines feel like they’re rushing toward you at warp speed. While it may sound counterintuitive, sometimes the best thing you can do to get back on track is to give yourself a break to step back, take a deep breath, and meditate.
For New Yorkers, that’s where MNDFL comes in. Founders Lodro Rinzler and Ellie Burrows created the drop-in meditation space to be an oasis from the busyness of city life. The studio offers a variety of themed 30 to 45 minute classes, designed to give you peace of mind in less time than it takes you to get through your inbox every day.
Of course, sometimes you don’t even have a half hour to spare (or can’t quite make it to their New York City studio), so Rinzler and Burrows walked us through a one-minute meditation you can follow anytime and anywhere to help you feel relaxed, refocused, and ready to take on whatever challenges your workday may bring next.
