Reminder: You Don't Always Need to Explain Why You're Saying "No"

One of my biggest fears is the word “no.” Seriously, it’s a terrifying phrase—and because of this, I’ve said yes to things I wasn’t qualifed to do, things I really didn’t want to do, and things that have prevented me from saying yes to something I’d rather do.

We want to be liked, so we say “yes” as much as possible. Unfortunately this isn’t the best approach to life. And this Business Insider video understands this dilemma. It not only lays out the issue, but also offers suggestions that’ll make saying no even easier.
